The consequences of Astroworld seems to be still following rapper Travis Scott. He recently gave the first interview to the media since the tragedy in Houston, where he said that he was not at all aware of the situation created during his performance.
After the tragic concert Travis Scott was charged with the incident, being further sued by hundreds of relatives of the injured persons. The rapper then took over all the expenses of the injured and the victims, although many of the families rejected Scott’s offer to pay the funeral expenses. At the concert where 10 people lost their lives, a petition was held where about 60,000 people signed their signatures for the exclusion of the rapper from all “GoldenVoice” organizations. So it was decided that rapper Travis Scott be excluded from the Coachella 2022 music festival, which will take place this spring. Scott, along with Rage Against the Machine and Frank Ocean were first announced as Coachella starters in January 2020, but the festival has been postponed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The news that Scott will no longer be part of the Coachella 2022 line was initially reported by KESQ in Palm Springs.
