Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs is this year’s winner of the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’.
The presentation of this award was made by Grammy Award winner Kanye West and Babyface at the BET Awards 2022 hosted by actress, Taraji P. Henson live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
While accepting the award, Diddy did not forget to commemorate his former partner Kimberly Porter who passed away after a long battle with pneumonia in 2018.
The BET Lifetime Achievement Award honors those “who have not only significantly shaped culture through their broad careers, but who have also been transformational leaders who continually inspire generations by setting a true standard of excellence.
In the 1990s, Diddy founded his own record label Bad Boy, which has since grown into a hip-hop force, selling more than 100 million records worldwide.
