Rapper Rakim Mayers known to the public as A $ AP Rocky was returning from a holiday in Barbados with his girlfriend, singer Rihanna. The media reported that upon arrival, he was stopped at LAX where he was arrested for several gunshots in November 2021.
Investigations into this case have been launched by the police department since November 6, where according to police reports, the shooting victim claims that the rapper approached him along with two other people. He further claims that Mayers had a handgun and shot him three to four times.
Rihanna and the rapper left for Barbados after rumors spread in the media about a betrayal by Rocky. The artist was accused of cheating on Rihanna with renowned shoe stylist Amina Mauddi, who denied all allegations stating it was simply a lie.
