Legendary rock band Pink Floyd has released a song in support of Ukraine. This is the band ‘s first song since 1994 and all proceeds will go to humanitarian aid. The song was performed by guitarist David Gilmour and drummer Nick Mason, with bassist Guy Pratt and Nitin Saehney
The song is called “Hey Hey Rise Up” and was made in collaboration with singer Andriy Khlyvnyuk, a Ukrainian musician of the band Boombox. The clip features Khlyvnyuk performing a patriotic Ukrainian song in front of St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv and posted it on social media.
In an interview, one of the members of the group, David Gilmour, said: “We want to express our support for Ukraine and thus show that most of the world thinks it is completely wrong for a superpower to invade the independent democratic country. “Ukraine has become.”
