The rapper, who is officially known as Ye now, delivered a speech to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and their four children as he appeared on the Los Angeles mission to deliver 1,000,000 meals to Skid Row ahead of Thanksgiving day this Wednesday. Kanye West has reiterated his desire to reconcile with Kim Kardashian in the midst of their ongoing divorce. He says God will reunite him and Kim Kardashian.
“What God wants is to see that we can explain everything about this relationship. We have made mistakes. I have made mistakes. I have publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but today I did not know that I would be in front of this microphone and I am here to change. ”
Kanye West has four children with Kim Kardashian: North 8 years old, Saint 5 years old, Chicago 3 years old and Psalm two years old. He said parenting remains his most important priority in the midst of this turbulent period. He confesses that: “I have to be close to my children as much as possible. I am doing everything to be close to them. I am trying to express this in the most reasonable way, in the quietest way possible, but I have to go home.
At the event, Ye also said he has a home near that of Kardashian, so he can be with his children.
Earlier this month, Ye was interviewed on the Drink Champs podcast, where he said he was trying to “save” his family in the midst of his separation from Kardashian. He also stated that he had “never seen” any divorce papers.
Kardashian filed for divorce from Ye in February this year. Meanwhile, Kardashian and 28-year-old Pete Davidson have been seen together in LA and New York recently. They were also seen holding hands on a sleigh ride at Knott’s Scary Farm in California on Oct. 29, sparking rumors of a relationship.
