Last night for the 64th edition in a row, the Grammy Awards Festival took place in Las Vegas. Jon Batiste was the one who led the evening with 11 nominations, winning five awards, including the album of the year for “We Are”. Silk Sonic, along with Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak, received four awards including the album and song of the year. Pop singer Olivia Rodrigo at a fairly young age of only 19 but a hugely successful career, won three awards including Best New Artist and Vocal Pop Album, along with rock band Foo Fighters and singer Chris Stapleton.
Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and H.E.R. received eight nominations, while Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo competed for seven more nominations. This marks the third year in a row that Eilish has been nominated for record of the year, song of the year and best solo pop performance. Meanwhile, JAY-Z secured himself a place in the record book with his 83rd Grammy nomination, which means he surpassed Quincy Jones to become the most nominated person of all time.
