“Escape Plan” and “Mafia” are Scott’s first solo singles of the year. Earlier this year, he hopped on a remix of Erica Banks’ viral track “Buss It” and joined Baby Keem for “Durag Activity,” but his last song as lead artist was 2020’s “Franchise,” featuring M.IA. and Young Thug.
2020 was a busy year for Travis Scott. He teamed up with Kid Cudi for a new song called “The Scotts,” which debuted in a wildly popular Fortnite concert. He released a song with Nav and Gunna and another with Migos and Young Thug. He also dropped his Tenet song “The Plan.”
Scott released his third studio album Astroworld in 2018. He ended 2019 with the Cactus Jack label compilation Jackboys.
As previously reported, Scott’s Friday night (Nov. 5) show at Astroworld will exclusively stream on Apple Music. The festival bears the name of his third and most recent album, Astroworld, which bowed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2018.
