Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero” has officially topped the Billboard 100 for eight weeks, making it her longest-running No. 1 to date.
Swift’s achievement comes just days after she made American Music Awards history by becoming the first female artist to win the most awards during the show. The singer took home six awards from six nominations, including Favorite Pop Artist, Favorite Pop Album, and Favorite Female Artist.
“You know, in the last few years, I’ve released more songs. I really feel like it’s because you, the fans, want to hear the music that I make,” she said while accepting the award for artist of the year.
“You encouraged me. I found that the more music I made, the happier I was. So I just kept creating, I kept making things,” Taylor said, thanking all her music fans for their continued support.
