Rihanna, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend A $ AP Rocky, did not attend the annual fashion party held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on Monday night. Unable to be part of the Met Gala 2022 the organizers created a marble sculpture in its resemblance to the Museum’s Greco-Roman exhibition. The organizers had taken care of the details to introduce the singer who is already in sweet anticipation with a round belly and not at another stage of her life.
British stylist Hayden Williams stressed that even though the singer was not present she had a very big impact on this year’s ceremony. “It was not even present and it still had an impact. “This is so nice.”
Rihanna thanked the organizers through social media, writing: “Thank you @metmuseum and @voguemagazine for this historic tribute!”
