After initially being pulled from the air amid widespread controversy over its lack of diversity, the Golden Globes awards show has returned to NBC following changes made by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Among the film nominees, The Banshees of Inisherin led the way with eight nominations, ultimately winning the top prize among musical or comedy films. The Fabelmans scored a Best Picture Drama win as well as a directing statuette for Steven Spielberg.
