The Latin Recording Academy announced the nominees for this year’s awards ceremony on Tuesday. The event will be held on Thursday, November 17 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. This year’s other top nominees include Edgar Barrera, Rauw Alejandro and Christina Aguilera. “At the Latin Recording Academy we constantly strive to support and encourage Latin music creators. These nominees represent the great moment our music is currently experiencing,” said Manuel Abud, CEO in a statement. “We are proud to present nominations with this diverse group of artists and officially kick off the 23rd season of the Latin GRAMMY Awards. The Academy recognizes dozens of Record of the Year contenders as they “reflect the diversity within Latin music and its growing cultural influence worldwide”.
