It has been five years since the release of his latest album and now, Kendrick Lamar is known to be coming soon with another album. He made the announcement himself through a post on his instagram where he announced that the publication date will be on May 13.
The album “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers” is a sequel to “Damn” by Lamar, winner of the 2017 Pulitzer. Since then he has directed and worked on the Black Panther soundtrack, leading the Coachella tour and Top Dawg Entertainment, won a number of Grammy Awards and was nominated for an Oscar.
In March 2020, Lamar and his longtime collaborator Dave Free launched pgLang, a company they describe as “a new multilingual, in-service company.” This year, he was one of the performers in the Super Bowl.
