Renowned rapper Kendrick Lamar has become a father for the second time and gave the news himself with a photo from his new album “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”. The 34-year-old rapper confirmed on the cover of his fifth album that he and his fiancée, Whitney Alford, have welcomed their second child.
Kendrick has not announced at any point that his fiancée is pregnant and they are both expecting a baby and the news that they have become parents again, was a surprise to everyone.
In the photo posted on Instagram, the rapper appears with his 2-year-old daughter in his arms, while his fiancée, sitting on a bed and feeding her second child.
Quite reserved as is usually the case for his personal life, the rapper shared some details with fans a bit of his life and relationship in an interview with Billboard. Referring to Whitney, he said: “I would not even call her my girlfriend. “She is my best friend.” A few months later, he hinted at why he prefers to keep his closest relationship private. Noting that he is a faithful man when it comes to his long-term romance, he added: “At the end of the day, you always want to have real people around you.”
Kendrick and Whitney have known each other since high school, where later in 2015 they got engaged and only four years later, their first child was born. The couple are already parents of two children.
