The 26-year-old singer had great success with her 2020 hit, but a band called Artikal Sound System is looking to win profits from the song because they believe she copied their 2017 reggae song “Live Your Life” “. According to the media the group believes that Dua and her team listened to their song and came up with a conclusion of the imitated song “Levitating”. Although they have not explained why they think this is so in the lawsuit, there are similarities in the sound of the two songs, especially in the chorus.

Artic Sound System are claiming every profit made on the song as well as a ransom. Meanwhile, a spokesman for Duas has not yet commented on the incident.

Dua Lipa herself recently revealed that she has been working on her new album and already has a “vision” and a name for the album. In a statement she added: “I did a lot of writing, it started to take shape and I recorded a lot of them. It has a vision. It has a name, I think, for now. It’s just fun experimenting. I I will always make pop music. “I want to release her latest album, ‘Future Nostalgia’, in 2020, which turned out to be a very successful album, although it was not expected that ‘Levitating’ would become such a big hit.
