Famous singer, Dua Lipa has recently been nominated for another important award at the “Brit Awards”. According to the media, Dua has been included in the list of nominations “British LGBT Awards 2022”. The artists, Olly Alexander and Lady Gaga were nominated in the category “Star of the Year”, while the singer was nominated for the award “MTV Music Artist”. This year ‘s awards, in collaboration with Macquarie and Tesco, will be held on June 24, celebrating leading LGBT + activists, allies and celebrities who have worked to advance the rights of LGBT + people over the past year. Those who have stood side by side with the LGBT + community over the next 12 months are very challenging for the community.The nominees, who include an exciting mix of faces, allies and famous LGBT + organizations, have all shown a commitment to advancing “LGBT + rights. The awards on June 24 will be a great celebration of our culture,” said Sarah Garrett, founder of the British LGBT Awards.
Dua Lipa has also managed to triumph in one of the two awards for which she was nominated. She has won the “Best Pop and R&B Artist” award, leaving behind successful names like Ed Sheeran, Adele, Griff and Joy Crookes. However, Dua could not be present at “The O2 Arena” in London to physically withdraw the award, but greeted them with a video message from afar to the public. She thanked everyone for the support they have given to the triumph of this award, while apologizing for not being part of the evening. The reason was because the singer is on the American continent for her “Future Nostalgia” tour.
