The BRITISH AWARDS Awards have announced the names of the performers for the ceremony that will take place on February 8th. So far it is learned that Dave, Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran, Holly Humberstone, Liam Gallagher and Little Simz will perform.
As the number of cases of covid – 19 infection in the UK continues to rise every day, festival organizers are working hard to bring the perfect show to all viewers. For the 9th year in a row, the show will be broadcast live on youtube for those people who do not have the opportunity to follow it closely.
For all those present in the hall, including the artists but also the other attendees will be required to wear a mandatory mask, present a negative pcr test and keep a safe distance.
Bringing her first UK performance and debut to BRITS, Doja Cat is nominated twice this year. Doja Cat is the female artist with the best-selling R&B and hip-hop hits of 2021, having won awards and nominations for awards including the three best songs in the Top Ten.
Ed Sheeran will also perform after another year of record charts in the UK and internationally. His fifth studio album, =, was released last year alongside the lead charts “Bad Habits”, “Shivers” and “Merry Christmas”, the Christmas collaboration with Elton John. Ed’s fourth performance at the BRIT will be followed by a stadium tour in the UK and Ireland in the spring / summer, including five nights at Wembley Stadium in London.
Nominations for this year’s BRIT Awards were announced before Christmas where in addition to the aforementioned names, other artists joined in including Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Central Cee and Little Mix, who will compete for the grand prize. The BRIT Awards 2022 will be hosted by Mo Gilligan, with Clara Amfo and Maya Jama presenting The BRIT Awards Red Carpet at ITV2.
