Just two weeks before the start of the Coachella 2022 music festival, rapper Kanye West who was supposed to be one of the top performers this year, is learned to have given up and canceled his participation. It is not yet known why Kanye made this decision exactly two weeks before the concert but it is said to have to do with recent events and clashes he had with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her new partner Pete Davidson. Sources close to the rapper have stated to the media that Kanye made this decision after he decided to be treated by mental health professionals. Media sources said: “Kanye is withdrawing because he wants to stay out of the public eye after all the drama with Kim and Pete, he wants to get help. Last week Kanye was told he had told Kim he would withdraw from social media, make no public statement and ask for help.
Along with Kanye West this year the top performers at Coachella will be well known names like Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Swedish House Mafia. Also after the news of Kanye’s departure, it is rumored that his place will be replaced by the singer The Weekend but there is still no confirmation.
